Kindergarten Registration

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the extended school closure, our typical process for enrolling children into Kindergarten at the School City of Hammond will be revised. We are asking incoming parents to complete the preregistration form listed below prior to fall registration. After you have completed the preregistration form, a staff member will contact you at a later date with additional details on the registration process.

Important Information

  • Children must be five years old on or before August 1, 2020 to be eligible for the fall kindergarten class.
  • School City of Hammond has open enrollment. If you do not live in Hammond, you will need to complete the Open Enrollment paperwork on the SCH website.
  • If you need assistance during this process, please contact your home school.
